About a month ago my wife went to fill up our 2006 Pathfinder and when she finished the gas gauge showed only half fill. She went to another gas station tried to fill it up but it only took another dollar. The next day I called up Nissan who said it was the sending unit in the gas tank and would be apx $600 to fix. I saw other logs of xterras having this problem and there was a recall. Our car was just past the 3 year warranty. If this were the only problem with this car I'd pay to get it fixed. But I've had another but problems with this vehicle. I've gone through 3 sets of rotors and I'm on my 3rd set of tires. The drivers side door lock broke and to be brought in twice, and the bose system has a cd stuck which I can't get out. This happened only after we owned it a few months.
: the contact stated while refueling the vehicle, the contents inside the vehicle were stolen. In order to fuel the vehicle, all the locks must be unlocked. The dealership and manufacturer stated this was how the vehicle was manufactured. A police report was taken.
