CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2005-2007 Pathfinder appears to have a widespread defect where coolant leaks into the transmission, causing transmission failure around 90,000 miles. Repair costs are typically upwards of $3,500.
According to the New York Times & a class action lawsuit, the defect actually extends through 2010 model year. More info here.

I would have never mentioned thought of this until I very recently saw a post from a man in CO from November of 2006!!! He listed 13 very descriptive items wrong with their 2005 Pathfinder. I have at least 3 of the same issues.
2) The rear driver-side window will not go up or down by way of the drivers control panel.
I actually have to reach back with my left hand between the door and the seat to work it (unless I have someone back there).
It's too bad ~ I really love (or loved) my car!!!
