Really upset that there's been a technical service bulletin on this vehicle for a significant component and I was never notified. Approximately 3 weeks before the timing chain broke, there was a whining from the engine under throttle. Initially suspected a belt but with the addition of the timing chain noise, it's clear this was related. Nissan should have recalled this as they had plenty of knowledge and this is a safety issue! Losing control of your vehicle? Seriously, fix this and reimburse people who had to pay out of pocket. Now I need to sell the car at a loss or dump $1800 into fixing it!
