CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2005-2007 Pathfinder appears to have a widespread defect where coolant leaks into the transmission, causing transmission failure around 90,000 miles. Repair costs are typically upwards of $3,500.
According to the New York Times & a class action lawsuit, the defect actually extends through 2010 model year. More info here.
From day one of having the car battery goes dead if not used for 2 or more days. Nissan keeps changing the battery saying nothing is wrong but to have 3 batteries in two year is not right their must be something taking from the battery when turned off but what ??? any help
Battery goes dead intermittently, about every 3 months.Dealer has no clue as to cause after several tries.I have to carry a jump battery with me at all times.
Update from Sep 21, 2010: Just had to replace the battery again on a vehicle that nissan claimed had no electrical problems.Still have to ride around with a jump battery, the most unreliable vehicle I have ever owned.
