I only bought this vehicle three months ago. There is no more heat coming out of the vents about a month ago and while checking the coolant I found it was low. I added some coolant and it was okay. Two weeks after the same thing happened. I noticed low in coolant again. I added and the problem was solved again. As of yesterday I have either heat or the fan running. Fan stopped running as well as no heat what

so ever. Coolant is full. The heat temperature gauge shows normal but not heat is coming out of any vents at all. Secondly I hear a crack sound when I use the 4 wheel drive while turning the car in any direction. This is an expensive vehicle and have spent over $10,000.00 in the past 6 years in maintenance. Would Nissan do any thing about These problems? If any Nissan Pathfinder owners came across these type of problems, kindly post.

I have a '05 Nissan Pathfinder that I just spent over $2k putting a new transmission in through Nissan. Nissan did pay half of the cost after lots of calls and griping. I was still very unhappy considering this is a HUGE problem with LOTS of other Pathfinders. The Coolant was leaking into the Transmission, which caused the transmission to "chatter." I was able to have this repaired before the transmission went out.

That brings me to now!! In October when I was warming my car I noticed the cool air blowing out even when the car had heated up. Once the car is moving the heat does work, but when my car is in idle the heat will stop blowing out warm air. Today I took my car to an authorized dealer who informed me that my 'heater coolant valve" had went out. Costing over $500 to fix.

I will NEVER buy another Nissan. This SUV has been nothing but trouble!! I have to get this fixed because I have too much invested to trade in and I would not feel right selling to someone else.

Please let me know if you have had these problems!! Something/Someone has to stop Nissan from ripping off so many people. I bought this SUV thinking it would last a long time. Boy, was I wrong!!
