Fuel gauge always reads full. This necessitates tracking of miles to prevent running out of gas. It also results in the check engine light (CEL) on. The vehicle will not pass inspection with the CEL on. In searching the internet, this appears to be a common problem with Pathfinders and Nissan in general. Fix is replacing sending unit or dash gauge?
