The problem is that the ATF fluid dipstick is bolted to the tube that it sits in. Definitely makes routine maintenance more of an inconvenience than anything. Best advice is to carry basic tools at all times and have ATF fluid that is genuine Nissan ATF so as not to void the warranty. I wish someone told me because at 48,000 miles I had noise and lag when accelerating. I was told the noise was a broken retainer ring on the muffler and the lag was from low ATF fluid in the transmission. There was no ATF in the antifreeze or in the oil, so it's a mystery as to where it goes, when it gets low. Other than that this van has been bullet-proof, only if it were diesel and 4x4 it would be near perfect in my opinion.
