It's a real inconvenience for me as driver not to get warm [in cold weather] or to cool off [in hot weather. but my main concern is for my cargo of valuable show dogs! They are definitely not as comfortable as they could be when driving due to interior temperature, despite considerable customizing of my van.
I love so many aspects of this van, and do not understand why even the driving compartment cannot be comfortable in exterior weather extremes [under 40 degrees and over 80 degrees]. It is one thing to bundle up for the cold, but stripping to bra and panties in the heat seems a bit ludicrous, for my comfort and does not address the comfort and safety of my animals!
Update from Mar 24, 2015: Replaced thermostat & water inlet/outlet; adjusted blower [n/c]. Definite improvement, but can only get about 40 degrees if I am lucky [granted the persistent sub-zero ambient temps don't help]. Will wait to see what hot temps bring. Still very inadequate.
