Having to replace a high cost item, the transmission, at 7 years and 90,000 miles is not acceptable. According to the transmission shop the transmission gets to warm allowing the shaft to expand which leads to seal failure. There are a number of class actions about this problem on several other Nissan vehicles with the CVT. We are trying to find a class action that will apply to our 2017 Murano.
