Alternator failure on a 4 year old vehicle is just ridiculous. We we're stranded at the end of an off ramp. Maybe we were lucky this kind of thing didn't happen in rush hour traffic on the interstate. We decided to give Nissan a try after owning GM vehicles for many years. Since this problem we also have an electrical problem that melted a wiring connector under the driver's seat and then the CVT transmission started leaking which required a new transmission be installed. No more Nissan vehicles in the future.
