This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
We had an accident on January 4. We were rear ended and pushed it to the vehicle in front of us. The truck that hit us was going about 65 miles an hour. Our vehicle is totaled. No air bags deployed and my seat did not engage.
Sunroof shattered while driving today, I read that many Nissan Muranos have had the same problems. The sunroof looks like it shattered from the inside out.
The contact owns a 2017 Nissan Murano. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 mph, the glass moon roof exploded without impact. The moon roof was closed when the failure occurred. The vehicle was not taken to be inspected or diagnosed. The vehicle was taken to the local glass repair facility to be repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The local dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 26,000.
Told of a report on "car fax" that my air bag had been deployed (not true!). does your organization track such information? this affects the value of the car damage was only a dented bumper.
