I had my compressor changed out at 120k miles due to the clutch failing. 12k miles later and a/c starts working sporadically. Take it back to the guy that changed the compressor, and it seems to be a sensor. Replace that and 2 days later it starts again. I have to drive around near there until it goes out again so the mechanic (not dealership) can check the compressor. That checks out ok but now I've got to find time out of a very busy schedule to take it to dealer for troubleshooting. It's not working at all now. Hoping it's not control panel but what else could it be? Had a 2010 Murano that I changed the compressor at 60k. I think I'm done with Nissan after this.
