We bought our 2012 Nissan Murano in March of 2012, it started having a coolant leak smell in AUG of 2012, smell was very present, made an appointment with Tracy Nissan in Calif, took it in to be fixed on Sept 28th 2012 and they said the hose was leaking, need to replace it, didn't have the hose so they had to order it after making me wait for 4 hrs,so took car home and returned it 2 weeks later, they changed hose and said it was fixed, about 1 week later smell was back, called the manager at Tracy Nissan and he said they would pickup my car on Oct 9th and leave me a rental ,so they did and they called and said there was no leak, but would keep it over night to be double sure, they called next day and said there were no leaks an no external or internal problems existed,. Oct 29th called Nissan in Tracy told him the smell was still there what are they going to do about it? SO they picked up my car Nov 8th and took it back to their shop, checked it again still they say there is no smell, so the mechanic brought it back to us in our garage and me and my husband and the mechanic all 3 were standing in front of the car and he said he could smell it slightly, so he called the manager at the time was Dave and they decided to take it back again to the shop that night, they kept it for a week and brought it back to me and still said there was no problems found, they were just giving us the run around trying to passify us, we let it go for a while and then started back up agin with them cos we are tired of smelling these toxic fumes, so on and on it goes now going to BBB autoline complaint dept to be resolved i hope, it just is really bad when you buy something brand new so you wont have a problem, and you have one anyways, and they dont even care to look deeper into it and fix it, i'm also going to call the national high way safety administration about this problem
