This was my grandfathers car and he passed away at 89. He took very good care of it, being a military man. I just recently inspected the car and found it to have a few issues that he did not mention because of many factors most likely. This vehicle has only 47k miles
#1. The driver's chair slides slightly when you are driving and is not fully locked in. Never experienced this with any vehicles I have owned.
#2. The steering column's auto-adjust feature does not work and is locked in the up position. You can hear the motor moving but it wont go down. I have googled this and many seem to have the same issue and the dealership is not repairing this as it should be a recall per the many claims. There was a repair kit that was available and fixed the problem with many users but they seem to have discontinued it. Mostly because they want us to pay more for the whole part to replace it... ridiculous.
I'm doing more research to see the most cost effective repair.
