The contact owns a 2009 Nissan Murano. When the contact is within 3 feet of the vehicle, the driver's side door unlocks. When she touches the handle, the passenger side door unlocks. She called the dealer, service manager, and owner of the sales lot, and they all stated that nothing could be done. She then called Nissan of North America and they stated that they had no information related to the failure, and nothing could be done to remedy the issue. The manufacturer stated that there are technicians who handle service issues of that nature, but they would not provide the number. The failure and current mileages were 6,000.
