- the contact has a 2006 Nissan Murano. The contact stated that in the midst of driving the windshield wipers would completely stop working until the following day. The contact stated that this was a design problem because the ice went down below the hood, and it stopped the windshield wipers from working. The ice prevented the windshield wipers from going all the way down and then come back up. The contact stated that the windshield wipers must be able to go all the way down in order for them to work properly. She would just like to have it fixed, because she did not want to be afraid to drive in a storm. The contact was told by the dealer that she should lift the hood and clean the area where the windshield wipers were. This happened once before in another storm, and she was able to get the windshield wipers going again. Each time this happened the contact was in a bad storm. The failure and current mileage were both 4600. Update/23/07
