Was traveling some distance and started noticing a humming noise. When I got to my destination I had a friend drive with me that owned a mechanic shop and he said it sounded like the hub bearings. When I got home I took the car in 3 times and they kept telling me it was tire noise. I took it to someone else and same thing. When I took it back to them again, they said it was the hub bearings and apologized for letting it go as long as they did. They said I could have seriously been hurt if one of the tires came off the car at a high rate of speed. However, my other two cars never had these problems and they both had at least 100,000 miles on them before I traded them in.
