My passenger and drive side sun visor keep falling while driving. It happened going over the smallest bump. It's vary unsafe while driving especially when it is sunny.
Drivers side visor drops down without warning, including while driving. Occurs during hot weather, cold weather, on short drives or long ~ no consistency. Unscrewed the visor to attempt to find loose screws, none of which there were. Attempted to use velcro to secure visor to interior roof, but did not stick due to cloth interior lining of roof.

The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Murano. While driving at 25 mph, the sun visor fell and blocked the drivers view. The contact stated that the sun visor would not stay in place. The vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000. The current mileage was approximately 70,000.

The driver's side sun visor on my '05 Nissan Murano won't stay up. It falls down while driving, creating a safety hazard. It seems that many Murano owners are having the same problem, but Nissan will not correct the issue. Replacement at the dealer will cost over $400.

Whenever the vehicle encountered bumpy road conditions the failure would occur. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer. The vehicle had not been repaired for the malfunction. Driver side visor of vehicle falls down on it's own. Blocks driver's vision. Occurs at least once a day. Some times more frequently depending upon the road. If the roadway is bumpy, the visor will fall more frequently. This happened all of a sudden, without any events leading up to the failure. When I checked online, it turns out this is a fairly common problem with this vehicle. In some instances the dealer will repair. In other instances they will not. Cost of the repair is around $400. I plan to go to the dealer tomorrow and hope they will repair.
