Murano

  • Automatic transmission
  • 40,000 miles

Last Murano we'll ever purchase...door locks failed/sun visor droops down... it will not stay in place...oh wait it will after I pay the dealer $175!! The dealer was arrogant when approached about the door locks issue, pretending that is wasn't that big of a deal, and that these things do happen...locks failing, really? that's like a door handle just falling off.

I don't know what aggravated us more, the arrogant dealer attitude or the fact that the door locks just failed at 40k miles. We shopped around for prices on actuators/ went with a local repair shop. Will never buy a Murano and will insist no friend or family does either..we are done!

Murano SL V6

  • CVT transmission
  • 23,000 miles

Nissan USA will not replace the defective door actuator at their cost. No reason the case was declined. The Murano is only 3 months out of warranty with 23,000 miles. Most manufacturers have a "Good Will" grace period for out of warranty repairs. This is my first and last Nissan vehicle.
