Nissan is aware there is a problem with this transmission, they extended their warranty on the CVT transmission from 5 years to 10 years. Now one month past our 10 year warranty and our Murano has transmission troubles. It's slipping, the RPM's go from 2000-3000 without acceleration. Cruise control won't stay set, the SUV thinks you are accelerating. I've called Nissan and they won't help. CVT transmissions are a bad idea !!!
