I had my car serviced here a couple times, 04 Nissan Murano SE at about 70k miles. They seem really good, friendly of course, took good care of me with things that were still under dealer warranty, at first. Then, my alternator went and they replaced it and told me that I would also need a battery, I had just bought the battery that was in the car. So they replaced it as well.
Now I have and extended warranty on my car. So when the next issue arose with the car it was covered under that warranty, and all I should have had to pay for any repair covered is deductible of $100 dollars, but Nissan told me that the warranty would not cover the repairs fully and I had to pay them an additional $800, which made me look at other shops. I found one that used dealer parts and was able to repair my car and I was charged nothing but my deductible. This made me stop using the dealer as they rip you off.
Now the way this all ties in, the alternator that Nissan put in failed again. I had to get it fixed ..the battery that Nissan put in from the dealer started leaking acid and I was unaware. It leaked out and destroyed my hoses and lines to my transmission. This is a $800 repair, plus I have to pay for a rental to get to work. Called Nissan about their battery they put in and what happened, and was told that it was two year ago and the battery is only for 1 year warranty, and that they will not reimburse me for the cost because I don't service my car with them anymore.
Why would I keep coming to you when you rip me off? My car is service by professionals regardless and is up to date..Nissan doesn't care and try to act like they do. They don't stand by their products and will play the warranty game even though its their faulty or defective parts that cost consumers a lot of money. I am not going stop going after them, until they do what is right. I should be compensated for their faulty battery ..Nissan would have never told me that their battery was the cause of this had I gone to them...
I will never buy Nissan again...
