Recently 10 days before when I tried to start my car using push button start and it didn't start. Nissan service center guys diagnosed car and said that Electric Steering Lock Unit failed and we have to replace it.

That part is also very expensive so I asked what could be the reason of failure of such an expensive part (700 US dollar). They said that might didn't get sufficient voltage due to battery issue.

That answer didn't satisfy me because flat battery can happen anytime and it doesn't mean that it should screw such an expensive part within 3 years of life of car. And one more thing is that my car went for service in Nissan service center just 15/20 days before. Then during service why they couldn't identify any battery issue if there is any.

Nissan doesn't have genuine answer for such part damage. Infact Nissan customer care Executive told me that this expensive part is electronic so it can be fused just like an electric bulb in your house. Nissan now you justify your tagline "Innovation that excites" !!!!

I HAVE GIVEN THE CAR TO R.G.NISSAN BADLI DELHI. THEY ARE JUST HARASSING US AS FIRSTLY THEY SAID THAT YOU DON'T HAVE EXTENDED WARRANTY /,AND AFTER I SHOWED THEM THE WARRANTY CARD THEY SAID YOU HAVE NOT TIMELY SERVICED YOUR CAR SO NOW IT'S NOT VALID.

THEY ARE JUST MAKING FOOLS OF US. MY CAR IS WITH THEM, I AM ALSO SENDING THEM THE NOTICE FROM MY ADVOCATE IF THEY KEEP ON DOING LIKE THIS. I THINK THIS WILL SPOIL THE REPUTATION OF NISSAN TOO,

SO IT'S MY REQUEST TO CONTACT THEM TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM ASAP.
