My wife first spotted the screaming, albeit it was intermittent. Our mechanic firstly fitted new brake pads. This did not cure the fault. He then fitted new drive belts. This still did not cure the problem either. Finally he replaced the air conditioning condenser. Although this helped initially it did not cure the problem and the squeak/scream has returned. My wife loves her car and although it only has 28,900 miles on the clock the
mechanic who is extremely competent, feels it is best to unload it and replace it with something else. If there is anyone out there who has experienced this problem and has had it rectified please can you let me know.
It would certainly make my wife very happy, and I would not have to replace it and with something else.
