On Nov.6 while driving to work, my sunroof exploded for no reason, and scared the hell out of me. I didn't know what had happened. All of a sudden there was a loud noise, and my first thought was my back windshield blew up. All I could hear was glass flying and air blowing inside the car.
I reached out to the dealership where I purchased the vehicle only to be told its not under warranty and they are not responsible. So we reached out to our insurance company and submitted a claim.
When searching the internet, I came across an article about Nissan cars having sunroofs explode while driving. Seems to me they should do a recall and get this fixed before someone gets seriously hurt. They are repairing my sunroof but I'm scared will it blow up again.
Something needs to be done!
