My 2017 Nissan Maxima transmission started slipping. The next day it got worse and I went to a shop who only would put a new transmission in, then a Transmission shop that was closing. By the time I found another shop, I couldn't drive the car anymore in the forward direction. I had to have the car towed to another shop. The insurance inspector just came out and looked at the car. I should know in a few days if they will cover it, and how much it will cost me to repair with either a rebuilt transmission or a new transmission.
