Something is totally off with the build quality, there are inconsistent body panel gaps around the car. The key problem area is the rear door which exacerbates the already bad road noise/wind noise that the car produces. When I pointed out my concern to the tech when the car was serviced I was told that this is within normal spec and told me to look at the new ones on the lot to compare - some where better but some where even worse.
This is not normal, the old piece of junk I had as a student had a tighter build.
I should have been more diligent at examining the car before purchase.
Update from Apr 23, 2018: I wasted even more time at the dealer. This 3rd construction and the resulting horrible wind noise are considered within normal production tolerances.
This was not normal 20 years ago.
