I just purchased a 2016 Nissan Maxima and have felt the driver's seat rocking or moving side to side a bit during moderate acceleration and braking (even gentle braking). I plan to take it to the dealership for attention, but I was waiting to see if there were any other issues that needed to be addressed on my first visit. Everything else seems to be fine, but the driver's seat is DEFINITELY moving. While I know it isn't going anywhere, it still feels unstable while driving. I have read about the "rocking chair" issue with Nissan Maximas that dates back several years. It is a bit annoying, especially as I was a previous Infiniti owner, and that Nissan-made vehicle was as solid as a rock. I expected the same in the Maxima.
