I took our Maxima in after serious front tire leaking. The tires were brand new. Had the tire guy pull off the front two tires to look at the rims . The chrome was separating around the inside bead of the tire, it was bubbling up all around the rim. I'm amazed they don't leak more than they do. The tire guy said this is a well known problem with chrome wheels.

These are Nissan wheels that cost extra for the package and they are junk. I can't believe you pay extra and get screwed. Nissan has to be aware of this issue. My only option is to buy new polished aluminum wheels or risk flats everyday. I'm going to contact Nissan asap and see if they will do something. And if they won't this will be our last Nissan, we also own a 350z and have enjoyed both cars. Let's see if Nissan steps up or looses a customer.
