The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Maxima. On March 18, 2007 the contact moved the vehicle from the garage to the street with the engine off and the vehicle in park the curtain/side airbags deployed. The vehicle was currently being inspected by the Nissan dealer. The contact was aware of the safety risk involved. The failure and current mileage were 16,000.
