Maxima owners report spending $3,000 to replace the transmission, typically around when the odometer hits 100,000 miles.
There's a class action lawsuit filed in late 2011, & it is still in the "discovery" stage. Apparently, these things take time ... far too much time.
I am really pissed off because as I was driving my car today and my car caught on fire as I was driving to church. I looked through my rear view mirror and saw fire and smoke coming from the back of my tail pipes. Then as I hurry up an stopped the car and jumped out, the engine caught on fire. I really think that these cars should not be sold. I will be getting a lawyer to see what I can do further.
