This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
I would like to know why nothing has been done about Nissan Maxima's rusting and deteriorating radiator support (lower tie bar) that has been a problem from the mid 90's threw today's cars. There should be a recall on this issue and it should extend to all cars still being driven today. I have put a lot of money into my 98 not knowing of this defect. The year of the car has nothing to do with this problem, since it is continuing on brand new cars with as little as 50,000 miles on them. As a tax paying, car buyer. I believe if they are not willing to fix these issues. Then you need to force them to do the right thing.
