I took my car to the dealership for the wheel alignment, and they told me that the valve cover gasket is damaged, and oil is leaking pretty bad, and quoted me $700 to fix that. then I took it to another mechanic shop and they quoted me $450 to fix it. so I asked them to fix it and also had my drive belt, AC belt replaced. when I got out of the dealership in the morning, my car was running very smooth. I had to tell you, even though it is a old car, it still runs very smooth. I never had any problems with it. well...except that the check engine light is on, and it is the oxygen sensor problem. I did not get that fixed, as the mechanic told me that it would not really cause any problem.

now after I had the valve cover gasket, intake manifold gasket and drive belts replaced, my car started shaking a lot. It really bothers me, because it was running very smoothly until yesterday and after I got them replaced, it started shaking. by looking at the forums in this website, it seems that replacing the gaskets should fix the shaking problem. but for me it actually started after replacing them.

so what do you think is the problem now? do you think that they didn't do it well? or is it a oxygen sensor problem? It should not be, because I have been having that problem from the last 8 months, and it never did that before. so please tell me what should I do now?
