Tires are Low Rolling Resistant Bridgestone with a warranty to 65k and our front tires are completely bald at 15k. Worst part of experience was Nissan's lack of recognition that this is not normal. Both dealership and national Nissan stated bald tires at 15k is completely normal wear! and therefore would not take any responsibility. Of course when buying the car, they did not divulge this fact, and in fact tried to state it was the way I drive, which is all city and on eco mode. Furthermore, even though they checked the tire pressure at 13,000 miles, they did not notice that our tires were nearly bald. The front end somehow wears the tires so that the outerwear is completely worn but the inner tread is fine. This would indicate under inflation but the tires were always inflated to required pressure. Although there is little maintenance on the electric vehicle, replacing tires every 15k is significant maintenance cost.
