EVERY TIME the leaf is started, Nissan requests our permission for the vehicle to wirelessly transmit vehicle data to Nissan for their use in product development, etc. A selection must be made to remove their request from the screen. I don't object to giving my permission to Nissan. I do object, however, to their asking this same question EVERY time I start the car. I estimate this same question will be asked 10,000 to 15,000 times during my years of ownership!!! A SOLUTION: the car can accept updates and changes by Nissan's computer inputs. Add a selection on the request screen to hold that answer for a day, or week, and not ask that question again for that period. This simple change can reduce their data use request by, maybe, 95%. I am disappointed that Nissan doesn't seem to care enough about their customers to fix this.
