I brought my car in because I kept smelling gas in the cabin. After reassuring my tech that I didn't have gas on me anywhere, and that I'm not just a dumb blonde female with a cute car, I asked them to check it out - take it for a ride, etc. They came back with "we can't replicate the problem you describe...however..." I was then told they heard a grinding noise and they think it's coming from my trans. Lovely. They want the tech to take a look. Okay. An hour later I'm told that they are pretty sure it's the trans and they want to keep my car. So, I've been driving a Nissan Altima the past week (not a bad ride) and I'm supposed to pick up my Juke today. I was told they were going to sit down with me when I get there and discuss everything. I just did some research on Jukes. Not too happy with what I'm reading. Wish I would have done more research before buying her. Otherwise, I love the car. My kid hates it because he's 6'1" and can't fit behind the wheel too well, but I didn't buy it for him! LOL! I hope that this trans problem is the last of my worries with this car.
