First off I want to make clear, I have always taken care of my car and I currently have been borrowing a car due to being absolutely scared to drive my car ever again. I am so disgusted with Nissans non chalante typical Corporate response to such a dire situation. Ever since I have purchased this new car it has been one thing after another. From the car not starting via the push button many times, to the sun roof not retracting many times, to the right hand speaker not working, to the heated seats coming on without being activated and getting really hot many times to the worst part of it all is the car completely dying while in motion with my child in the car, 7 times!!!!! My boyfriend worked there and had the car looked at 3 times and no one could figure out why or what was going on. On my own I had the car looked at and one of the times after it died in motion they were able to code it and attempted to fix it. THEN HERE WE ARE again it completely died again while I was driving it.
Nissans response was, there is a campaign that we feel could be causing the issue. Nissan felt again that my car was not eligible to be purchased back (again) at this time. Well guess what you non caring, ass hats, I don't care what the cause is, I shouldn't have all these issues with a new car, since I had it and paying for a car that does not work and could be an accident or worse waiting to happen. So I explained to them that they need to buy the car back, do right by the consumer (who is a mom with a child that has to work for a living) and other drivers that could be affected by the car, the robotic representative I have been communicating with could care less. I asked him for his fax and email address and he would not give it to me and said I would have to correspond via mail.
Well fortunately I had emailed with Nissan previously and went on to the web page and found many emails including un human representative and I think the top of the chain and emailed the below
Dear Mr. Walden and fellow Nissan Employees.
Please note this is an absolute desperate attempt for Nissan to listen to me and hopefully finally do the right thing. Per my conversation this morning with Mr. Walden, he stated Nissan North America, feels my case at this time is not eligible for re-purchase. I purchased your Nissan Juke brand new on March 29, 2014. I have had nothing but problems several inconveniences since. Basically by Nissan NOT doing the right thing and buying back this unsafe, potentially deadly vehicle from me, A mother with children, who has to work for a living, take her kids to school, and is dealing with this absolutely unsafe situation that Nissan has once again said by their inaction, pretty much my vehicle that I pay for, bought brand new is NOT unsafe, that it is ok that a mother with children, drive around in a vehicle (that is being paid on, $460 every month) dies out while she’s driving and because of that, it’s ok that I may get into an accident or cause an accident or worse. This is exactly what Nissan is doing and saying!!!!!
As I stated my car has died COMPLETELY while I WAS DRIVING IT, IN MOTION, NOT STALLED, DIED out several times, approximately 7 times with my son in the car. Not only has it died out, the sunroof did not work on occasion, the heated seats would come on with out the buttons being pushed, the car would not start on occasion, the right hand speaker would not work. My car has been at the Nissan dealership where I have purchased it and for these issues and up to this point the unsafe potentially deadly issue has not been resolved. The fact that Nissan North America is pretty much putting this under the rug and not doing the right thing, Nissan is just like the other car companies who had devastating issues.
How many more “campaigns’ does Nissan feel I would need to go through or something awful happening, before they see the light. Because my car is and has been absolutely unsafe I am no longer driving it and borrowing a car. My car is not safe to drive nor has it ever been really since I have first purchased it brand new!!
I am holding Nissan North America responsible.
