When I purchased my Juke I told the salesman I wanted a remote start. I negotiated it into the purchase price & they arranged with their vendor to do the work. (I purchased the vehicle on May 31 of this year, & didn't pick it up until the second week of June). From day one, if you started the car remotely & got in & closed the door, the car would shut off & lock the doors as soon as you put it in gear! I brought it back for them to take a look at it when I had the other problems looked at ( as opposed to being fixed). After 3 days I got a call back that my car was ready to be picked up all fixed. I took it home, parked it on the driveway & went inside as it was snowing like crazy & the next day was Thanksgiving.

The next day I started it from the house, let it run as I put on my shoes & jacket, got in , waited for my wife, & when she opened the passenger side door... You guessed it, the car shut off! Oh & it still did the same thing when I put it in gear if I was driving by myself. I made another appointment for service the other day, they told me their vendor re-programmed the remote. I took it home & guess what? Same nonsense!
