This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
I went outside to start my car to warm it up, I live in Michigan and this happened during winter so it was between 15-25 degrees that night. I closed the door after I got out of my stationary vehicle, and the sunroof shattered. I did not close it hard, I do not slam my car doors. There was no chips or cracks in the sunroof previous to it shattering. I read online about Nissan having a recall for their sunroofs in another vehicle, something about faulty glass temperment and/or they used a thinner glass to save money.
