I bought my new car 4 months ago. Upon purchasing my vehicle, I noticed there was no protection in front of the car to protect the air condenser. I travel quite frequently with my job, and I thought to myself, I hope a rock doesn't hit the front of my car. Guess what -- it happened, and the rock poked a whole in the air condenser. The dealership told me it will cost $ 750.00 for a new condenser. They also said that several other people have put mesh covering in front of their Jukes for protection. Nevertheless, the dealership said that would not stop a rock from penetrating the mesh if you are traveling 70 miles down the highway. That leads me to believe that this has happened before to other Juke owners. The dealership said it is not covered under my warranty and I have to pay the $ 750.00 to fix the A/C. I know this is going to happen again. I think I'm trading this car in now and I'm not going to pay to fix the A/C. What's the point if it's just going to happen again. Nissan needs to design a cover for the A/C condenser NOW. This is a serious flaw and poor workmanship. I'll never buy another Nissan again.
