Nissan had serviced the vehicle before for a similar issue before the car was sold to me by another dealer.
A class action lawsuit had been filed for this same type of car GTR but it was a 2009 year model.
Nissan knows about these transmission failures and can't repair them so but charge the customers very large amounts of money to replace the transmission as they claim they can not repair them. My understanding is that they also restrict vendors from obtaining the parts that would be needed to repair or replace the transmissions. The car has low miles and is never raced or used for track races just normal street driving.
Update from Sep 27, 2016: Transmission failed at 40,138 Miles. shift Fork separated. Debris in pan and above the valve body
