Theres a metallic click like something loose in the power steering and rack & Pinion. Im not the only one with this issue and nissan is not doing anything. Theres Reddit threads and facebook groups about. Some people have gotten their entire Steering Rack replace and others like myself, not. The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Frontier. The contact stated that while driving from a complete stop, the vehicle lost power steering functionality. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the power steering gradually responded while exceeding 40 MPH. The dealer was notified of the failure and advised the contact that the failure was because the vehicle was new. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 6.
