The contact owns a 2022 Nissan Frontier. The contact stated that while driving approximately 55 MPH, the Forward Collision Avoidance system suddenly activated causing the vehicle to abruptly stop although no other vehicles or objects were nearby. Also, while operating the vehicle the collision avoidance system warning message and display continued to erroneously appear on the dashboard. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who cleared the failure codes but was unable to determine the cause of the failure. Also, the contact indicated that the door chimes would not always alarm when needed and the front driver-??s side and passenger-??s side door latches would malfunction and the doors could not be immediately opened from inside the cabin of the vehicle. In addition, the battery randomly lost power and the vehicle could not be restarted. The cause of the failure was not determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 1,000.
