- Transmission *****Dealer Announcement***** Nissan is committed to a high level of customer service and satisfaction. This commitment requires Nissan to periodically place certain vehicles on temporary Quality Assurance (QA) Hold to ensure that these vehicles, as delivered to our customers, meet our exacting standards and our customersâ?? expectations. Effective immediately, Nissan is placing a temporary Quality Assurance Hold on all 2020-2022 Nissan Frontier and 2020-2023 Nissan Titan vehicles due to an investigation of a potential transmission issue. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. Dealers may continue to repair vehicles subject to Recall R22A1 and R22A7; however these vehicles are subject to this quality hold after repair. *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. Please do not drive, loan, rent, sell or trade the specific vehicles in dealer inventory subject to this quality hold. 2. Nissan is currently investigating a potential concern with the transmission. Additional information on next steps will be provided as soon as possible.
