I have a 2016 Nissan Frontier with only 68,400 miles on it. The airbag light on the dash started flashing. I took it to Any Mohr Nissan and they diagnosed that the sensor in the passenger seat has failed and that it is an $1800 repair, because the only way to fix it is to replace the whole seat.
I would like to formally complain that this seems like an excessive price for something that should last more than 4 or 5 years. It would appear from my internet search that others are having the same problem. Maybe this should be a re-call item. What are your thoughts?
