I bought this used 2016 nissan frontier on 12/30/19 from Asheboro Nissan, which at time of purchase had only a few miles over 16000.It was sold to me as a certified vehicle,in my feeble mind ,my thoughts are -HEYthis is like a new truck (WRONG).The first problem was a water leak at rear glass passenger side, they fixed that and to try to keep mold down, they sprayed the wet matt with something that was almost unbearable fragrance for several weeks -- meantime I notice in the cabin the air noise is unusually loud, after two or three times to dealership, they tell me that is the way that Nissan designed it for fresh air(sounds like a window is down).A mechanic had the bright idea of cramming a cloth(RAG) between the cab and the bed on both sides, tried that and it does help if you could keep them in place-- NOW to the real problem at hand. Not every time I take off but occasionally the truck refuses to go from a stand still, no matter how hard you press the accelerator. I have taken it in to the dealership twice and they drive it and it will not act up for them and they say there is nothing they can do if it don't act up in their presence.I have also talked to the manager about selling the truck back to them, and he offered me about 4000.00 less than I paid for it 3 months prior. As of today I have got the second follow up from Consumer Affairs and they say they have no plans for a buy back. The truck is VERY DANGEROUS to drive because you don't know when it going to let you down.
