Truck had 11 miles on it when I bought it. Transmission seems to slip into gear accelerating from a dead stop. (I believe it's called 'Delayed Engagement')This was the only time, at first.
Took it to the Nissan dealer, they test drove it and said there was nothing there. I took it home and now after 5,000 miles, you can feel it slip even worse accelerating, and now coming in for a complete stop it does just the opposite, slips back down.......shifts hard when I am accelerating to pass traffic on the freeway.
I know I've only taken it in once, but am really busy, and I do need to take it in again.........The reason being that I hoped this problem would resolve itself, you know, like a break in period. And now after a little over 5,000 miles,(the problem is getting progressively worse) I guess that I really need to take it back in.........but, on vacation with this vehicle now and will take it when we get home.
We used to own a 2001 Frontier, one of the best vehicles that we ever owned. When we got rid of it(accident), we said that we would purchase another one. So far, I am not too impressed with this new one.
