I bought my Nissan Frontier used with 27,000 miles on it. I was really excited to have a low mileage worry free experience. Whoops. At 54,000 miles, I noticed that the engine rpms were going up, but no acceleration when changing gears. I couldn't believe it was the clutch given the mileage on the vehicle. I have driven manual transmission vehicles all my life, and this is total garbage. I took it into the dealer, and they confirmed it was the clutch and that it would not be covered under the power train warranty because it is a wear item..........horrible. My truck has been at the dealership now for two weeks, mostly because of another issue. The cost of the fix was priced at $2200.00! I am telling everyone I know not buy Nissan. Once upon a time Nissan meant quality to me, but not anymore.
