I LOVE MY FRONTIER, BUT MY ONE COMPLAINT, OTHER THAN A PAINT ISSUE, IS THAT IT IDLES ROUGH, EVEN ROUGHER WITH THE AC ON. I CHANGE THE OIL FREQUENTLY (FULL SYNTHETIC) & NOTHING SEEMS TO SMOOTH THE IDLE.
Update from Jan 8, 2016: I WANTED TO ADD THAT WE ALSO HAVE A 06 FORD EXPLORER WITH SAME SIZE ENGINE THAT STILL IDLES SO SMOOTH THAT I SOMETIMES HAVE TO LOOK AT THE TACH TO SEE IF ITS STILL IDLING.

Every time I took my new truck in for oil changes I complained about the rough idle and all they say is that is inherent in these vehicles. This is bunch of B.S. they have never fixed it although they claim they have tried and the factory idle is set by computers. It idles even worse when I have the air running which all the time in Florida. I purchased this at Wallace Nissan in Stuart and have even asked for the supervisor of the shop. So one time the had my driver another 2012 Frontier to show it is also the same, maybe the 2012 Frontier the had me driver has the same problems

Need to check why engine is suddenly racing. It is a safety issue when driving in traffic. I don't want to make the nightly news or hurt anyone.

I complained about it at first service app. on May15 and was told it was put on computer to relearn idle.Brought it back on May 24 and was told they all do that. I started asking every Frontier owner I saw and only 1 said he had the same problem and was told the same as me. still IDLES ROUGH

Engine idles rough. Took it to dealer,they said that it was normal for this engine.
I have a hard time believing that.

I bought my Frontier with the idle shake, did some research before buying it and knew it had the shake. Did a quick google and found this video and seems to have reset my idle to a higher rpm then what it was and has since relieved the vibration even with A/C on
