The original factory key fobs are working and the original keys were working fine. Then suddenly, the truck would not start with two of the three original keys. All keys will unlock the doors and turn the ignition, but the ignition will not engage (truck won't start) using two of the keys. Dealer says the ECU and steering lock must be replaced and the keys reprogrammed, at an estimated cost of $1,424! That's ridiculous, and I see on the web that many people are experiencing this problem and finding workarounds that are either unsafe or leave the vehicle without any security protection.
