transmission problem
Shortly after taking delivery of vehicle transmission developed problems shifting, shifts typically from 2nd into 3rd would be notch at best or feel like the gate was blocked, not allowing you to put gear lever into 3d gear slot. Upshifting causes issues when merging into traffic. At times gear shift feels like it is a wet noodle and could pull right out.
Took vehicle several times to dealer, they would acknowledge known complaints with Nissan frontiers, but would not offer any resolution unless vehicle would not go into gear at all.
Brought to their attention that it is a safety issue as there has been several times while merging into traffic expecting to be able to run through gears tat transmission would jam and not allow a upshift. Dealer stated that Nissan would not do anything about it. Found quite a few complaints of this on the frontier forums.
